Catarina Ribeiro has been as Assistant Professor at Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2007. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto where she presented her thesis on Judicial Decision on Cases of Intrafamiliar Sexual Abuse: Perspectives, Psychological Experiences and Processes of Magistrates. She is a Psychologist and Expert in Forensic Psychological Assessment at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences I.P.
She coordinated the Portuguese research team of the European project FACT FORM MINORS. Fostering Alternative Care for Troubled Minors (JUST / 2015 / RCHI / AG / PROF / 9578).
She is now Co-Coordinating the Portuguese research team of the following European Projects:
