Rosário Serrão Cunha earned a Master’s degree in Psychology, with expertise in Educational and Human Development Psychology from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto (UCP-Porto). She defended her Master Thesis on adolescents’ perceptions about learning in 2015. Since 2011, Rosário has been collaborating with research projects in the field of Education and Educational Psychology. In particular, during her ERAMUS+ internship, she collaborated in European research projects with the Centre for Resilience and Social & Emotional Health, University of Malta, and since 2017 has been a fellow in the Project EDUgest – Gestão Escolar e Melhoria nas Escolas [Shool Management and School Improvement], funded by Fundação Belmiro de Azevedo. She has also worked as a School Psychologist and has teaching experience.
Currently, Rosário is enrolled in the International PhD Programme in Applied Psychology: Adaptation and change in contemporary societies - Joint PhD Programme: Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) – Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) – Nottingham Trent University (NTU). Her topic of research is Mental Health in schools.
