Luísa Orvalho

Profile

Luísa Orvalho holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a M.Sc. in Education, Specialization in Informatics in Education from the Institute of Education, University of Minho. Holds a Postdoc in Educational Sciences from the Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia (FEP), Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto, where developed the research project “Collaborate to Innovate in Vocational Education (2015-2017). She also collaborates in masters, specialization and postgraduate courses (since 2011) and is a consultant of the Support Service for Education Improvement (Serviço de Apoio à Melhoria da Educação – SAME) (since 2012), in FEP-UCP.

She has held positions of leadership and advising in the Ministry of Education (GETAP, DES, DREN), in the field of Professional Education. She is responsible for International Projects of GETAP, DES and DREN of the European Network of Training Partnerships, integrated in the PETRA II Community Programs, Action II, PETRA Transition Measures for SOCRATES and the LEONARDO DA VINCI PROGRAM. Currently, she is a research consultant on ERASMUS + Program projects.
