Maria Raul Lobo Xavier is an Assistant Professor at Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia (FEP), Universidade Católica Portuguesa.  She received a Degree in Psychology in 1988 (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Science – University of Porto) and a PhD   in   Biomedical Sciences, in 2001 (Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar – University of Porto). She held several positions in FEP, such as Coordination of first Cycle in Psychology, President of the Pedagogical Council, and more recently coordination of University Clinic of Psychology (CUP).
