CEDH researchers Mariana Barbosa and Raquel Matos co-authored the recently published article "Public protest and police violence: Moral disengagement and its role in police repression of public demonstrations in Portugal". This article was published in the Journal of Peace Psychology and presents a qualitative study where the accounts of common citizens and police officers were analyzed.
