CEDH researchers participated at the fourth steering group meeting of the project “PRO.VI"

The CEDH researchers – Raquel Matos, Mariana Barbosa and Mafalda Santos – participated at the fourth steering group meeting of the project “PRO.VI – Protecting Victims’ Rights”, co-financed by the European Commission (JUST/JACC/AG/2017/802047).

The TAB meeting took place on 29th September 2020, and this time, due COVID-19 Pandemic, the meeting was held online, by Zoom platform. This meeting was organized by the project coordinator (IPRS-Istituto Psicoanalitico per le Ricerche Sociali, from Italy), and looked up to discuss one of the key project outputs – the Practioners Handbook - with the supporting stakeholders and acquire their comments and suggestions prior to finalizing the handbook. The meeting involved all the partners and invited stakeholders from Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Romania. Dr. Manuel Albano and Dr. Paula Caldas, from CIG (Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality), adressed this meeting to provide their comments and suggestions to the handbook, as well engage in a discussion with stakeholders from partner countries about key issues in the protection of victims’ rights as well as support the development of an instrument designed to be of use to practitioners working with victims of crime in Portugal as well as throughout the EU.
