This book, coordinated by FEP's professor Raquel Matos, rises from the scientific meeting with the same name, held under the Research Project "Life Trajectories of female inmates of foreign nationality in Portuguese Prisons" (FCT / CIGG).

In addition to the above mentioned input of Raquel Matos, this book also includes a chapter authored by Mafalda Silva (FEP's former student and psychologist at Santo António Residential Unit) and Mariana Barbosa, also FEP's professor.

It is launched next October 24th, on the occasion of the First Seminar on Human Rights, at 18:00 at campus Foz of the Catholic University of Portugal.
