Patrícia Oliveira-Silva was the guest speaker to the Seminar of the P-ACE week, at Nottingham Trent University

Patrícia Oliveira-Silva, a professor in the FEP-UCP, director of the Human Neurobehavioral Laboratory (HNL), and PI of the project CAPSULE funded by the BIAL Foundation, was the guest speaker to the Seminar of the P-ACE week, during her visit to the Nottingham Trent University (NTU, Nottingham – UK) at Sir Harry and Lady Djanogly Lecture Theatre. Her talk was entitled “Controlling the taste for thinness: Putting Emotion Regulation and Psychophysiology on the map.” This session enabled attendees to develop a deeper understanding of how physiology and psychology intertwine with the concept of body image and mental health. During this Seminar, she explored various aspects of research methodology used by the HNL team in different projects currently under development.
